Last days of Portlandia

In mid-September, I shall be embarking on an epic journey to the distant shores of China, and situating myself in the quaint town of Shanghai. There, I hope to marvel in all its glory, amongst the amazing and exotic food, culture, fashion and design it contains. I am exhilarated.

In the meantime, I hope to also indulge in all the amazing-ness of Portland while I can, and shall document as much as possible before I leave. It is an incredible city of grit, texture, fine cuisine and delicious brunch, low-brow bars and whiskey lounges, hipsters and yuppies, and I shall miss it all greatly. For now, here is the possession I have loved and shall miss most while abroad, the aptly named Penelope Cruiser (credit to LG !). In other words, my darling Public Bikes D3, resting in Tanner Springs Park (Pearl District). For more awesome, retro style bikes, check out the young San Francisco based company Public Bikes.
